In broad daylight robbery, two dacoits deprived a jeweller of gold worth Rs 9 million. According to details, Haroon Khan was on his way back to shop after conducting a laboratory test of more than two kgs of gold when two bike riders intercepted him at the local gold market, Sarafa Bazaar, and fled the scene after snatching the gold. The crime was committed within the precincts of Bani Police Station.
Police registered a case against unidentified criminals on an application filed by Muhammad Akhtar.
SHO Sitar Khan told media men that teams had been constituted for the arrest of the two robbers.
