Another five succumbed to dengue in Lahore on Wednesday raising the number of people dying of the virus to 252, while another 290 were tested positive for the disease in the city. However, the Health Department reported only 155 new cases in Lahore. According to official figures, 224 have died of the virus in Lahore whereas independent sources have said there have been 279 deaths due to dengue in the city.
