Four employees of Services Hospital were suspended on Monday on charges of stealing medicines and not mentioning the names of the department concerned on the drugs to be provided. Services Hospital Medical Superintendent Dr Javed ordered an inquiry against the suspended employees, including Junior Clerk Javed Bhatti, Ward Boy Ghulam Rasul and Abdul Sattar and Ikram, both working in the store.
Javed also directed the nursing superintendent and pharmacists to deposit packing and rappers of used medicines back in the store on a daily basis. He said that if some drugs were recovered from cabinet of any employee during inspection, he or she would have to face stern action.
