PML-N chief Nawaz Sharif slammed the government here on Wednesday, calling it was worse than a dictatorship.
Speaking to media representatives, Nawaz said that the current government was a hazard for democracy as the PPP rule has brought the country to the brink of disaster. He blamed the government policies for destroying national institutes like Pakistan Railways (PR) and Pakistan International Airlines (PIA), which, according to him, were taking their last breaths. Commenting on the performance of PR and PIA under the current government, he said that the two have only contributed towards increasing the miseries of the common man.
Nawaz said that the inefficient government did not know how to run the country and that democracy has been defamed by these rulers. Urging the government to take the nation into confidence over key issues, Nawaz held the current government responsible for the crisis the nation the facing today.
He pointed out that government did not bother to consult the apex court over issue of appointment of NAB chairman, neither did the government take any suggestions of opposition in this regard, which was against the law.
He said that the law and order situation condition in the country, particularly in Balochistan and Karachi, was an alarming call but the rulers are completely ignorant over the situation.
While advising the nation to vote wisely by seeing track record of their leaders, Nawaz promised the people of the interior of Sindh that all their grievances would be addressed when he would to come to power.
