Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf Chairman Imran Khan on Tuesday said that the Pakistan People’s Party and Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz were faces of the same coin and people were now tired of their blame games to protect their corrupt leaders. “PPP and PML-N have ruled this land together for over years and now, right before the elections, PML-N has decided to take action against the PPP but the people have had enough,” Imran said while addressing a large gathering to welcome former PML-Q MNA and former law minister Shahid Akram Bhindar to his party, adding that both the parties were full of corrupt leaders who had brought the country to the brink of bankruptcy but had made sure that their foreign bank accounts remained full. “PML-N will know on the PTI rally on October 30 who the Lahoris support,” he said. “We will free the country and the police from the clutches of corrupt patwaris and politicians who are using the force for their own malicious purposes,” Imran said, adding that he would introduce police reforms and the station house officer would be elected by the people, adding that the patwari system would be removed and people would be allowed to buy land directly. “Desperate times call for desperate measures and we will take all the measures to free this nation,” he said.
