Sindh Information Minister Sharjeel Inam Memon said on Wednesday that Nawaz Sharif and his cohorts were conspiring against democracy and Sindhi president of the country.
Responding to the statement of Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N), Sharjeel Memon strongly refuted the statement and said that Nawaz Sharif had an intention to derail the smooth flow of democracy in the country
Nawaz Sharif had a fear of defeat in upcoming Senate elections, therefore, he was trying to play fool blame game against the leadership of Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) by leveling false charges of corruption against it.
Commenting on PML-N’s tactics of ‘Horse Trading’, the he said that Sharif brothers were explicitly violating the Charter of Democracy and following an undemocratic process by forcefully changing the loyalties of the members of Pakistan Muslim League-Quaid (PML-Q).
Nawaz Sharif should avoid shedding crocodile tears for Sindhi people, he said adding that PPP ministers and workers were doing their best by participating in relief activities of flood victims. Moreover, President Asif Ali Zardari and Prime Minister Syed Yousaf Raza Gilani by themselves were inspecting ongoing relief activities in flood-hit areas of Sindh and Balochistan.
He said that PML-N was plotting against the Sindhi president, which would never be tolerated. PPP workers were ready to foil all types of conspiracies against Sindhis, he added. By giving reference of the plight of Sindhi leadership of the country, he said that earlier two former prime ministers from Sindh Zulfiqar Ali Bhutto and Benazir Bhutto had been killed.
