A bomb has been recovered from beneath a vehicle in Block 14, Gulistan-e-Jauhar here on Wednesday morning. The vehicle was parked in the car park of a private bank adjacent to the Darul Sehat Hospital.
According to the police, the bomb, which weighed about 10 kilograms, could have potentially wreaked a disaster. But the bomb disposal squad was called in, and the bomb was diffused before it could go off.
