Police arrested at least nine people from various areas of the city on Monday and recovered weapons and drugs from their possession. They arrested five people in a crackdown in Mehran Town of the Korangi Industrial Area and recovered illegal weapons and drugs from their possession. The residents of Memon Goth caught a man allegedly while committing robbery handed him over to the police. However, his two accomplices manage to escape from the scene. The Anti-Violent Crime Cell of the Karachi police said it recovered five abducted people from kidnappers from different areas of the city.
