Every year we sacrifice animals on the eve of Eid-ul-Adha, but we always forget to keep the environment clean and tidy. It is our responsibility to keep our city clean. Many of us have observed that after the first and second day of Eid, people wash away all the remains and guts of the animals on streets. Moreover, roads with dried blood are a common seen. This not only gives a nasty look to our area but also creates bad smell. Being Muslims, it’s our duty to keep our environment clean and tidy and take good care of our animals. The city governments are doing their best, so should we. The responsibility is equally on our shoulders to keep our streets, areas and towns clean and tidy so that everyone can enjoy Eid in a pleasant environment.
