Demanding of the federation to take notice, the Balochistan Assembly on Monday echoed with protests against the violation of Pakistani airspace by low-flying jets from across the border over Chaman and other areas. Deputy Speaker Syed Matiullah Agha presided over the assembly session. Speaking on point of order, Minister for Revenue and Local Government and Awami National Party (ANP) leader Eng Zamarak Khan Piralizai said the hovering of jets over Pakistani territory for over 20 minutes had caused panic and distress amongst the dwellers of the area and that an inquiry be carried out in this regard.
He also raised the issue of high prices of cattle ahead of Eidul Azha, dubbing the smuggling of cattle as the main cause. Ministers including Abdul Wasey, Ali Madad Jatak, Aslam Bezinjo, Shama Pervin Magsi, Eng Zamarak Khan, Aainullah Sham, Rehila Durrani, Dr Ruqayya Saeed Hashmi, Jan Ali Changezi, Mir Sadiq Umrani, Syed Ahsan Shah and others condemned the remote control and rocket attack on convoy of Balochistan minister and noted tribal chieftain Sardar Sanaullah Zehri.
