8 kgs of hashish seized, vehicle recovered

The city police on Tuesday arrested 20 outlaws from various areas of the city and recovered a total of eight kilogrammes of hashish, a stolen vehicle and a pistol from their possession, a police spokesman said. He said that Sub-Inspectors Nusrat Ali, Muhammad Idrees and Assistant Sub-Inspector (ASI) Zafar Iqbal from Tarnol police team arrested two female drug pushers during routine checking identified as Shabnam, resident of Mardan, and Sidra, resident of Peshawar.
Meanwhile, ASI Fiaz Akbar from Kohsar police arrested an accused Jehangir and recovered a car (registration number LOC-2141) from him, which was stolen from the Wah Cantt area of Rawalpindi. Sabzi Mandi police Station House Officer Abid Ikram and ASI Najeeb Ullah along with a police team raided House no1469, street no.58, sector I-10/1 as well as House No 858, Ibne Seena Road and nabbed a total of 16 people including women for their alleged involvement in illegal activities.
