Pakistan Muslim League-Quaid (PML-Q) Member of the Provincial Assembly (MPA) Amna Ulfat alleged on Monday that a special cell is working at 3-Club Road to support protests against the federal government. She made these allegations in a letter written to Prime Minister Syed Yousaf Raza Gilani, PML-Q President Senator Chaudhry Shujaat Hussain and Senior Federal Minister Chaudhry Pervaiz Elahi. Amna urged the PML-Q’s high command and the PM to take serious note of alleged corruption in the Sasti Roti Scheme, Food Support Programme, Ashiyana Housing Scheme and purchase of sub-standard dengue spray by the Punjab government. She said that the opposition in the Punjab Assembly (PA) demanded the provincial government to conduct a third party audit of the Sasti Roti Scheme and Food Support Programme but the Punjab CM had not fulfilled his promise in this regard until now.
