The Punjab Emergency Service (Rescue 1122) establishes Public Relations Wings for South Punjab to cater to public awareness needs in the region.
Faheem Jehan Zaib, serving Rescue1122 since March 2007 as Public Relations Officer, has taken charge of Public Relations Officer, Punjab Emergency Service (Rescue 1122) South. He is posted in Multan to establish the Public Relations wing to provide awareness regarding disaster preparedness, response and prevention through the participation of media and citizens.
Multan District Emergency Officer Dr Waseem Hashmi welcomed the move and said the establishment of the Rescue 1122 Public Relations Wing in South Punjab will help prepare people better for disasters and accidents.
