LAHORE – The Punjab University (PU) will remain closed today (Monday) due to the Islami Jamiat-e-Taliba (IJT) students’ congregation. However, teaching and non-teaching departments will remain open on October 22 to make up for the holiday declared on October 17.
Moreover, the PU Institute of Education and Research (IER) said the final merit lists of all self-support programmes will be displayed on October 18. All candidates interested in appearing for physical presence in various programmes were asked to report on October 18 at 8am in the PU Waheed Shaheed Hall.
Students complained that classes already started seven days later than the schedule due to delay in the intermediate results and now an additional off day would further disrupt the schedule.
