ISLAMABAD – Interior Minister Rehman Malik on Sunday said that police and Rangers would continue operation in Karachi on the basis of intelligence reports.
Talking to reporters after a meeting with Azad Kashmir Prime Minister Chaudhary Abdul Majeed, Malik said the business community of Korangi had regained confidence after improved security. He said intelligence reports suggest that terrorists might disguise themselves as Law Enforcement agencies’ personnel for carrying out attacks in the city. He said police had been put on high alert.
Malik announced that anyone who shares information regarding terrorists would be awarded Rs 5 million.
