LAHORE: The famous German brand Art Deco launched its new skin care range at Avari hotel on 11th October. The event was hosted by renowned model and Pantene and Capri Brand Ambassador, Aisha Omer. Etihad celebrates five years of service to France
LAHORE: Etihad Airways, the national airline of the United Arab Emirates, is celebrating five years of its non-stop services between Paris and Abu Dhabi. The airline commenced operations to the French capital in May 2006, and since then has carried more than 770,000 travellers and nearly 51,500 tons of cargo on the route. The Abu Dhabi-Paris route has enjoyed average passenger loads of 75 per cent over its first five years and has grown to 77 per cent so far in 2011. The amount of cargo carried has tripled since the start of operations to France, from 5,000 tons to 15,000 tons annually. Etihad Airways Chief Executive Officer James Hogan, said: “Our Paris operation has exceeded our expectations over the past five years, and this year we will carry 200,000 travellers on the Abu Dhabi-Paris route, up 16 per cent from 173,000 in 2010. press release

OGRA moving towards facilitation approach
ISLAMABAD: Highlighting the role of OGRA, its official spokesman revealed that in an environment where we daily hear about the corruption, malpractices in different organisations, it is heartening to feel a very positive change in OGRA. Exporters to get faster refunds through WeBoc
KARACHI: WeBoc (Web based one Customs) system of clearance is new and improved version of PAACS (process automated and control system) and working smoothly at Port Qasim, said Collector of Customs (Export) Ibrahim Vighio. Addressing at a seminar organised by Pakistan Readymade Garments Manufacturers and Exports Association (PRGMEA) in collaboration with Pakistan Customs at Pakistan Readymade Garments Technical Training Institute (PRGTTI), he said that exporters are quite satisfied with the new version of customs clearance and it also guarantees refund of duty drawback without delay. PRGEMA Chairman Atiq Kochra, also speaking on the occasion said that seminar has been organised to introduce the system to the exporters and remove their reservation on the system. press release
