People have rejected the govt, says Nawaz

Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) President Nawaz Sharif said on Friday that corruption and lawlessness were at their peak in the country and the people would reject the government and its coalition partners in the next elections.
Addressing party workers after Friday prayers at Raiwind, he said the people were not satisfied with the performance of the federal government, and they had expressed their sentiments by rejecting the joint candidate of the Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) and PML-Quaid in the most recent by-elections in Sahiwal.
He said that government was up to its eyes in corruption and nepotism while the people were being ruthlessly crushed under the weight of inflation, poverty and unemployment. He also berated the incumbents’ failure to solve the power crisis, which he said was rapidly disintegrating the economy of the country.
