Offices of 2 clashing religious groups razed in Godhra

Law enforcement agencies (LEAs) conducted a search operation in Godhra Camp and demolished offices of two clashing religious groups in the area. Rangers and police cordoned off the area and started a house-to-house search during which 12 people were taken into custody. 
The LEAs and the administration of the city government demolished two offices in the area belonging to religious groups, one of the Sunni Tehreek and the other of the Ahle Sunnat Wal Jamaat. It is pertinent to mention here that 22 people have been killed in Godrha Camp in clashes between these two sectarian groups in the last nine months.
Separately, police found two bodies in different areas of the city. A body was found in Zia Colony and shifted to the Jinnah hospital. The victim was identified as Abdul Samad. The police also recovered the body of a boy, who was tortured to death, from the New Karachi Industrial Area. The body was taken to the Jinnah hospital and the victim was identified as Imam Hassan.
