Ranbir Kapoor’s cola ad with his dad is out. Ask him how he felt on the set with his dad and he says, “First I was really nervous, because my biggest drive in life is to get a pat on my back from my father. He’s never liked me so far in any of my films. At best dad will say ‘not bad.’ He’s very hard to please. I think that’s really great because I will keep striving and keep pushing myself to get his approval. I had this feeling that if I act with him and give a bad shot, he will see through me and realise I am the worst actor in the world, so that fear was there. But when I came on set with dad, it seemed really normal, he was like any other co-star, he made that extra effort to make me comfortable. He made me realise that I don’t have to get all nervous and stuff. It wasn’t that unbelievable, it was very normal.” A film now together, perhaps?
