Check whether they are dengue sprayers or terrorists

The Lahore Police tightened security around police and army offices after being informed about a terrorist attack in guise of anti-dengue virus spray staff, Pakistan Today has learnt.
According to a letter forwarded by Punjab Additional Home Secretary Nadeem Aslam Chaudhry, the Lahore capital city police officer (CCPO), all divisional commissioners and regional police officers were informed to take extraordinary security measures, as terrorists had prepared a new plan to execute terrorist attacks in Punjab. The letter revealed that trained terrorists disguised as anti-dengue virus spray staff might transfer explosive material inside targeted establishments while carrying explosive material in spray cylinders/tanks to execute the planned attacks.
Sources said that after the information, security had been tightened at police and army establishment offices in order to stop the entry of terrorists. They said staff deployed at check posts had been directed to intensify search and sweep to avoid any terrorist attack in the city. Security at entry and exit points of the city had also been increased due to the threat, they added. Similarly, the Lahore Police also tightened security of the US Consulate and British Council after the National Crises Management Cell issued a letter containing information regarding expected terrorist activities at the said places. The letter available with Pakistan Today directed the Punjab home secretary, IGP and the Punjab Rangers DG to further tighten security measures at the said places. The letter stated that Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) members were planning to carry out terrorist attacks at the US Consulate and British Council. The letter stated that suspected terrorists including Zeeshanullah, 25, Ibrahim Salar, 23, Qari, 17, and Wazir Khan, 14, were involved in planning of terrorist attacks. The letter stated that planning and preparation for the attacks were being supervised by TTP commanders Gula Bahadur and Khalid Umer.
