An anti-terrorism court (ATC) on Friday directed the deputy inspector general (DIG) operations to take legal action against each and every policeman of the Defence-A Police Station involved in torturing former Pakistan Muslim League-Quaid (PML-Q) member of the provincial assembly (MPA) and film producer Ahad Malik’s daughter Ayesha Malik during her illegal physical remand in connection with a kidnapping case. Earlier, Ayesha’s medical examination report was submitted in court highlighting nine different bruises on her body due to slapping, punching and beating with a wooden rod. According to details, on October 10, Ayesha filed an application in the ATC to constitute a medical board to conduct her medical check-up to prove torture by police during her illegal physical remand.
