ISLAMABAD – The Allama Iqbal Open University has established Centre for Instructional Design (CID) to accelerate and enrich the distance educational opportunities according to demands of the present and future needs.
Sindh Senior Education Minister Pir Mazhar ul Haq will inaugurate the CID on 18 October while AIOU VC Prof Dr Nazir Ahmed Sangi will preside over the ceremony. The prime objective of this centre is to provide educational opportunities all over the country through electronic courseware to students at their doorsteps.
The VC has selected compulsory courses of Matric, intermediate and bachelor level for instructional design.
