With the revelation made by Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaaf (PTI) chief Imran Khan in Dallas that a prominent PPP leader was all set to join the PTI in the near future, there was a buzz in the capital that disgraced PPP leader Shah Mehmood Qureshi was likely to join Imran’s PTI.
Addressing a party procession in Dallas, Imran said a prominent PPP leader who had a reasonable following in the party would soon get affiliated with the PTI. Imran’s claim was translated in Islamabad as the former foreign minister’s imminent joining of the PTI. Some TV channels reported that Qureshi had decided in principle to disassociate with the PPP and might join either the PTI or the PML-N. Qureshi called on PML-N chief Nawaz Sharif in Raiwind in January this year

IK is giving a real tough time to PML N….aur PML N ka U-turn k foran opposition bani..part of the reason was of the joining of Mian Azhar….poori Arayin bradari unke saath hai…aur uske very next day Mian sahab ne so called principled politics chorke go zardari go kerne lage…sab topi drama hai…Mehmood Qureshi se aur phr Jahangi Tareen group k sath milke Imran Khan ki position kafi strong hai…aur people who still thinks k PTI ki position punjab mn strong nhi hain..to they will see it InshAllah on 30th October at Minar-e-Pakistan. Imran Khan has said k record no. of people will participate in it….I think ye ek turning point hoga…lets c and hope for the best!

I did not know that PTI chief Imran Khan is in Dallas.If any unknown identity visits USA the local urdu newspapaers before the arrival print the person's schedule.Well, the top leader from the country,currently most popular political figure and PTI chief is here and no one knows.Talk about the PR department of PTI,c grade.Coming to the point,Shah Mehmood will make a difference,if he joins PTI and it will be good for both PTI and Shah.But PTI needs more neat & clean known people like Shah from all provinces to make PTI a strong contender.PTI has successfully managed to establish in voters mind but now it is a time to get leaders from all over FATA,(where Imran Khan is more popular than their own tribal leaders)Nasir Khan,couple of Saifullah's and a Sherpao should do from the Khyber NWFP.Leaders from Baluchistan,like Zafar Jamali,Talal Bugti and Mengals are enough to get it going there.In Sind Khan sahib has to come to table with MQM and add Khaliquzzaman and may be Mumtaz Bhutto,it could work and in Punjab,I wish leaders like Aitizaz and Jehangir Badr can jump on the band wagon,but they are die hard PPP guys,also the forward block of PMLQ is something to take a second glance.
