PM stresses unity for facing challenges

Prime Minister Syed Yousaf Raza Gilani has said that unity of the nation is essential to meet the challenges it is facing today. He was addressing the prize distribution ceremony organized by the federal board of education here on Friday in the Prime Minister’s Secretariat.
Gilani said that the government is concentrating on education and health of the people, however, continuation of policies is essential. He added that without unity and continuation of positive policies development is impossible.
Turning to education, he said that efficiency of female students is praiseworthy.
“We fixed 10 percent quota for females in various fields as 50 percent of the total population can never be ignored,” he further said.
Moreover, he granted Rs. 1 million each to two students, Ali Moeed Nawazish and Shahid, for their distinctive positions in studies.

  1. Gilani where were your govt for last 3 years, when you think the elections are coming you just getting to unite all parties.
