While warning the country that the shortage of gas would get severe this summer, the government on Friday announced reduction in the load shedding of Compressed Natural Gas (CNG).
Talking to the media on the sidelines of Attock Refinery employees’ function, Petroleum Minister Dr Asim Hussain said that CNG load shedding would now be carried out for two days a week instead of three.
He said that there would be acute shortage of gas in January and measures were being taken to overcome the impending situation.
