Football training, skill development programme ends

The Pakistan Football Federation (PFF) and the Australian Embassy’s joint venture of training and skill development programme successfully concluded and the PFF thanked the Australian High Commissioner for its support. Australian Deputy High Commissioner Paul Molloy and PFF General Secretary Col rtd Ahmed Yar Khan Lodhi jointly held a press conference on Thursday here to mark the successful completion of PFF’s programs for the Pakistani youth with the financial help of the Australian Government.
“I am delighted that the funding helped the PFF in implementing courses in the eight schools at Lyari and Gilgit,” Molloy said. “PFF’s projects are latest of series of sporting projects which the Australian Government has assisted over the past three years, since 2008 the Australian Government has provided more than Rs Seven million to various sporting bodies including Pakistan Cricket Board and the Pakistan Netball Federation,” he added “Encouraging the young people of Pakistan to get involved in healthy sporting activities is the key aim of the Sports Outreach Program and I feel very proud to announce that the PFF’s camp has reached to about 1,678 kids which is a remarkable achievement by the PFF,” He also said.
