APTMA signs MoU with Orien Bank Tajikistan

All Pakistan Textile Mills Association (APTMA) delegation has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with President Orien Bank Tajikistan, to explore the prospects of bilateral trade and investment including cotton import from Tajikistan and extension of expertise for up-gradation of Tajikistan textile industry. This was told by Chairman APTMA Mohsin Aziz on his return from official visit to the Republic of Tajikistan. While talking to media, Chairman APTMA Mohsin Aziz said, initially APTMA is importing 2000 tons of cotton, but imports of other products from Tajikistan will increase gradually. Both sides agreed to exchange bilateral delegations to discuss other investment opportunities in prospective areas. Mohsin said, APTMA will help Tajikistan’s textile industry in its revival, competitiveness and expansion. The delegation led by him, included immediate past Chairman APTMA Gohar Ejaz, Senior Vice Chairman APTMA Seth Akber, Chairman APTMA Punjab Ahsan Bashir, Yasin Siddique and Sohail Tabba.
