The National Assembly looked like a battle field on Thursday when Pakistan Muslim League-N (PML-N) and Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) members started fighting after Ch Nisar Ali Khan criticised MQM chief Altaf Hussain during his speech, a private TV channel reported.
Speaking on the floor of the Assembly, Nisar said it is “a sin to talk to the MQM.” Nisar’s remarks enraged MQM representatives in the Assembly, who resorted to desk thumping and sloganeering. The debate got further intensified as PML-N’s Abid Sher Ali and Hanif Abbassi exchanged profanities with MQM member Syed Salahuddin.
A physical brawl was prevented when Interior Minister Rehman Malik intervened and stopped the furious lawmakers. MQM’s Wasim Ahmed also joined Malik in preventing the fight.

  2. why you all have so much curse in your heart about MQM. Just bcoz they want fair share like you have ? BJP was the biggest ethic party in India who secured maximum seats in Indian parliment. But Congress came back – Not by declaring BJP as terrorist party but by beating them through votes. If you have guts do it. Karachides are not idiots, show them better leadership they will leave MQM and follow new leadership. Dont ask to choose either one of the present available leadership.
