A three-member Supreme Court bench on Wednesday directed Additional Attorney General (AAG) KK Agha to produce in court today (Thursday) the complete record of old cases of missing persons.
The bench of Justice Mian Shakirullah Jan, Justice Jawwad S Khawaja and Justice Anwar Zaheer Jamali held that it would decide today (Thursday) which cases of missing persons should be heard by its own and which cases should be referred to the Judicial Inquiry Commission on missing persons.
The court referred the cases of missing Masood Janjua and Faisal Faraz to the Judicial Inquiry Commission on missing persons after finding contradiction in the statement of prosecutors and witnesses.
