KRL’s bowlers Nayyar Abbas and Saeed Anwar left Lahore Shalimar stunned on the opening day of the Quaid-e-Azam Trophy Division II round two match here at the LCCA ground on Wednesday. Electing to bat, Lahore Shalimar were bowled out at just 84 runs in 42 overs. Nayyer Abbas of KRL grabbed five wickets for 31 runs while Saeed Anwar took three wickets for two runs. At the end of the first day play, KRL scored 140 runs for one in 43 overs. Bazid Khan (son of legendry Majid Khan) and Zain Abbas scored half centuries in KRL’s innings.
