Mario Vottero, representative of the European Union (EU) to Pakistan, visited the Faculty of Shariah and Law of the International Islamic University Islamabad (IIUI) and met the Erasmus Mundus team.
Faculty of Shariah & Law Dean Dr Muhammad Ziaul Haq and other faculty members were also present on the occasion.
Mario Vottero said that IIUI was providing quality education not only to Pakistani students but also students from other parts of the world. The European Union would continue its support to the university by providing scholarships and other facilities, he added.
Dr Muhammad Ziaul Haq thanked the EU representative and presented university crest to him. Dr Tahir Mansoori, former dean of the faculty, also attended the meeting.
