Relatives murder woman over money

A woman was murdered by her cousins in the Burki Police precincts on Tuesday. Nusrat, a mother of three, was brutally murdered by her cousins at Pangali, a village near Burki. Nursat had gone to her cousin’s place with the intention of buying a pick-up truck. She had Rs 450,000 with her. Her cousins, Tariq and Javed intoxicated her and stabbed her to death. Later, the convicts buried her. On the suspicion of Nusrat’s husband, police arrested one of the culprits, who later told police where they had buried Nusrat. Police exhumed the body of the deceased and arrested the culprits.
SHOT: A 24-year-old man was shot dead by his cousin over an old animosity in the Ghaziabad Police precincts. Salman and Mubashar Hussan were cousins who had a monetary dispute a few days ago. They both had a minor scuffle, which was settled by neighbours. On Tuesday, Salman, a resident of Gawalmandi, was on his way to the butcher’s shop when he was allegedly gunned down by his cousin. Salman was taken to the hospital where he passed away. The body of the deceased was shifted to the morgue, while the brother of the deceased, Zeeshan Ahmad, registered an FIR against two men.
STABBED: The North Cantt Police handed over the body of a 30-year-old druggie, who was stabbed to death allegedly by his wife and children on Monday, to the heirs of the victim after autopsy on Tuesday. Fayyaz, was found dead in the area of Farooqia Colony. The body was shifted to the morgue for autopsy. During investigation, police approached the house of the deceased and met his wife Robina. The investigators found that the deceased’s wife with bruises on her face. Locals told police that Fayyaz had been a drug dealer and an addict himself. They claimed that Robina and Fayyaz had a fight over cash, as Fayyaz needed Rs 5,000 for drugs. On the next day of the fight Fayyaz’s brutally-stabbed body was found in Farooqia Colony. Police registered a murder case against Robina. However, police have not arrested the aforesaid accused.
MURDER: A woman was killed for honour by her husband in the Wahdat Colony Police precincts. Fouzia, a mother of one, was stabbed to death by her husband Fayyaz over suspicion of having relations with another man. According to details, Fauzia was married to Fayyaz for more than 13 years and living at Kot Shahabuddin in Wahdat Colony. The man suspected that his wife had an affair with another man since four to five years. According to police, the husband and wife had a fight on the same issue a day before her body was found in the house. Police said the husband had attacked his wife and killed her. Police stated that the man, after killing his wife, had contacted his brother Riaz and told him that he had killed his wife and that her body was in the house. He said the house was locked and the keys were under the mat in front of the main door. The brother of the killer informed police, who then broke into the house at 9am to find the body lying in blood. Brother of the deceased, Arsalan registered a case against Fayyaz and the body of the deceased was shifted to the morgue for autopsy.
KIDNAPPED: A nine-year-old girl was kidnapped by unidentified persons in Wahdat Colony area. Police said Aleena, daughter of Chaudhry Rashid, was playing in the street when unidentified people kidnapped her. Police registered a case against the unidentified kidnappers.
FIRE: Household items and electronic appliances were reduced to ashes in five fire incidents. Fire broke out in two shops in Baghbanpura and Chungi Amarsadhu, two houses in Singhpura and Azam Garden and in a telephone exchange in Shah Alam Market due to short circuiting. Firefighters extinguished the fires after valiant efforts.
KILLED: A 50-year-old unidentified woman was killed by an unidentified vehicle in Kahna Area. Police said the woman was crossing a road when an vehicle ran over her, resulting in her instant death. The body was shifted to the morgue.
BODIES: Four bodies were recovered from different parts of the city. The Gawalmandi Police recovered a body of a 60-year-old man, while the Ravi Road Police recovered the body of a 25-year-old man. The Hunjarwal Police recovered a body of an unidentified man and the Harbanspura Police recovered a body of a 35-year-old man from their respective limits and claimed that they were addicts who died of natural causes and excessive use of drugs. The bodies were shifted to the morgue.
