Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) chief lambasted the government, stating the state of Pakistan has been ruined by the current government.
He was talking to journalists outside the Parliament House in Islamabad on Wednesday where the PML-N was staging a sit-in. He said the PPP government had supported a dictator, former president Pervez Musharraf, and gave him a Guard of Honor instead of trying him for treason in the court.
Demanding constitutional impeachment of Pervez Musharraf, he said Musharraf had pledged Pakistan’s sovereignty and wrong decision of Musharraf had pushed the country into the fire of terrorism.
He said that Pakistan’s situation would not be so much deteriorated if army regimes were not imposed. He added that prosperous and bright future of Pakistan was linked with smooth democratic process.
He said survival of the common man had become difficult under present circumstances, but his party was committed to changing the destiny of the people of Pakistan.
He added that the ministers of the federal government were filling their own pockets rather than taking steps to control inflation and unemployment.
He blamed the government for the unrest in Karachi, saying that everyone was waiting to see when the references against criminals would be filed by the government, as ordered by the Supreme Court.
Has only PPP ruined Pakistan?

They all are 2 sides of the same coin…
I think we all have ruined Pakistan. It is time to admit our past mistakes and then work together to build. All our energies are being wasted to downsize each other. The powerful players are exploiting the resources to their benefit and masses are deprived of their share. Pakistan is going down the hill and we are just finger pointing or back stabbing. Sharif had two chances and he should know he can't do any miracle alone. Neither Imran Khan can take off his solo flight. If Sharifs and Imran believe in Change, then should sit together and make a combined strategy. Otherwise, Imran's politics will only damage PML-N and PPP/PML-Q will easily win 2013 elections in Punjab and Centre.
If PPP has ruined Pakistan then who has saved Pakistan? And why is PPP yet the largest party existinh in every part of the country?
PML (A -Z) including N, the friendly opposition, has a major share in this. They are no different, perhaps less shrewd and less street wise. They have also invested heavily in London properties. Current Interior Minister (he is not an angel, classed as amongst 5 star beggars) did two programmes on BBC Channel 4 way back in 1998 or perhaps in 1999 tracing the money trail to offshore companies. They used Kazi Family of ILFORD (London East). They were decent people and have wisely kept quiet since.
Sadly, there is no exception, not even Mr Khan who has issues other than financial corruption. Like any other politician he is self-opinionated and has organised his part around his personality. As I have said before the projects he has set up seem to be working well AND the common underpinning factor behind the success is that others are running it. He has set up PTI which he should HAND OVER TO other sensible and capable individuals rather shy of entering politics. Mr Khan should assume the role of a patron like NELSON MANDELA did. Mr Khan will get his place in the political history of Pakistan that he is yearning for.
