Four target killers who are allegedly involved in killings of 65 people have been arrested here Wednesday.
CID SSP Chaudhry Aslam said two people Ubaid alias Burst and Arif alias Berger who are allegedly involved in target killings of 39 persons had been apprehended and arms had been recovered from them.
The accused people had disclosed during initial investigation that they had killed 39 people in different areas of Karachi.
In another operation, police raided Zamzama street Clifton and arrested two target killers Faisal and Daniyal. Both are stated to be behind target killings of 26 people. Faisal has confessed to kill three people while Daniyal has confessed to kill 23 people. Police said that these two accused are being investigated with regard to their other accomplices.
Rangers have set up help line to facilitate the people to provide information about target killers and extortionists. The citizens can inform the Rangers on telephone No 1101.
