  1. What Khawaja is going to defend- a broad day light murder of a man who chooses to defend a hapless woman accused of blasphemy law. And what wrong Salman Taseer by calling spade a spade. Is calling man made blasphemy law a crime then what about those who called shariat bill a sharat bill including the likes of leading lights of religious parties including Fazlur Rehman.
To become a counsel of Mumtaz Qadri, who violated his oath to job by killing a man on whose security he was deputed by the state against certain amount of salary, Khawaja would be violating his own oath to defend the law and the rule of law.
Is for this the civil society of Pakistan struggled to restore the judges to their office that the likes of Khawaja violates the fundamental ethics of their profession.

  2. I think Justice Sharif Sb will try to convert his death sentence to life imprisonment. Pakistan can't afford "Ghazi Ilm din" as it will bring mass unrest and unseen before destruction. What Qadri did was absolutely wrong by law of the country and by law of Islam. No citizen has to be a judge and executioner of assumed blasphemy. If this become precedent, it will bring chaos in the country and a bad name for Pakistan and Islam.
