The Sports & Rehabilitation Centre Agha Khan University Hospital (AKUH) Manager Riaz Akber Contractor successfully managed to organise the seventh AKUH T20 Ramadan Cricket Tournament. Dubai Islamic Bank (DIBPL) won the final. Batting first, Faysal Bank scored 179 runs for eight wickets in 20 overs.
Ashir Husanain scored brilliant 96 runs for Faysal Bank in the final. DIBPL Muhammad Zeeshan (captain) grabbed three wickets. In reply, DIBPL team achieved the target of 180 runs for the lost of five wickets in 19 overs. Asif Siddiqui and Usman Farhat scored 60 and 48 runs respectively and gave DIBPL a solid start of 114 runs for the first wicket. Amir of Faysal Bank took three wickets. Usman Farhat of DIBPL was declared the man of the match of the final and the best batsman of the tournament. Usman scored 500plus runs with three centuries.
