In an afternoon function held on 11 October at its Islamabad Campus, Bahria University, in the presence of its top management, members of its faculty and Rector Vice Admiral (r) Mohammad Haroon, inaugurated the new central academic block and a law library. This new building has eighteen classrooms, cubicles for forty eight faculty members, and one electronic and media lab. It houses the departments of Applied Sciences & Graduate Studies, and Law. The Cornelius Law Library, named after the renowned chief justice of Pakistan, also became functional the same day, with a proud initial collection of around six thousand books. It has been developed in accordance with the needs and requirements of the five-year law degree programme and those of the Pakistan Bar Council.
