Four more patients succumbed to the deadly dengue virus, taking the death toll for Lahore to 194.
According to media reports, four more people lost their lives in Lahore. The deceased include, 40-year-old Abdul Hameed of Sanda, 62 years old Shabaz Anwar from Gulshan Ravi, Shaukat Manzoor, aged 65, of Ichra, and 15-year-old Usama from Shadbagh.
The number of dengue patients in other cities is also on the rise. In Faisalabad, 30 new patients were diagnosed with dengue, taking the total number of dengue cases in teh city to 1098. In Multan, 4 new dengue patients admitted to hospitals, raising the total number of dengue patients in the city to 64.
We were told that Dengue is curable and not a fatal disease. Then why so many fatalities?
