Two patients succumbed to dengue virus raising the death toll to 204 in Punjab, including 182 residents of Lahore. On Tuesday, Sheikhupura resident Muzammal, 24, died in Mayo Hospital Lahore while Fazalpura resident Uzma, 23, died in Kot Khwaja Saeed Hospital.
According to Punjab Health Department, around 1500 dengue patients are admitted in hospitals in Punjab and 289 new cases were confirmed on Tuesday of which 214 patients were from Lahore.
