Hoti rejects power tariff hike

MNA and Convener National Democratic Alliance (NDA) Nawabzada Khawaja Mohamamd Khan Hoti has rejected the recent increase in power and petroleum products tariff and said the decision will increase inflation in the country and would effect the common man directly. Talking to different political leaders and activists at his residence in Hayatabad on Tuesday, he said the government had completely failed at finding solutions to the key problems being faced by the people including power crisis, unemployment, inflation and others. Hoti said the gradual increase in power tariff and petroleum products reflected the government’s poor performance, adding that the government should shun its luxuries and should focus on the masses. Referring to the corruption in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, he said the rulers had looted the national exchequer with both hands, adding that ANP-government had broken all records of corruption.
