CDGK recovers Rs 60 million encroached land in North Karachi

The Revenue Department of the City District Government Karachi (CDGK) continued its anti-encroachment campaign in the city on the fifth day and recovered land worth Rs 60 million in North Karachi. The anti-encroachment squad removed dozens of shops and hutments from Sector 7-A of North Karachi near the Muhammad Shah graveyard. Some two acres of land worth Rs 60 million was recovered in this operation, which was carried out by the anti-encroachment squad together with the town administrator and the area police. Moreover, another operation against encroachments was reported to be under way until Monday evening near the Northern Bypass in Keamari Town.
