No to US slavery: Baloch

In a meeting of the Shuhada-e-Islam Foundation at Gujranwala, Secretary General Jamaat e Islami (JI) Liaqat Baloch said on Sunday that a humiliating defeat was awaiting the US in Afghanistan. He said that the ‘war on terror’ was a US-plan to deceive the world.
He said that time had revealed that the US wanted to establish its supremacy in the region and was trying to destabilise Pakistan, Afghanistan, Iran and China through terrorism and subversive activities. Liaqat Baloch said that the Afghans had proven that they would not accept being American slaved as they had not accepted being British or Russians slaves in the past. He said the US and its allies were facing strong resistance in Afghanistan.
Despite being a super power and enjoying the support of forty countries, the US now wanted to withdraw from Afghanistan, he added. Baloch said that US strategic planners had misguided their people about the Afghan war and had ruined the US economy in the name of war on terror because of which the global economy was on the verge of destruction as unemployment and recession were prevalent throughout the world.
He said that the US had been dreaming of being the sole super power in the world but other nations could not agree with the US agenda by surrendering their independence. Baloch said the US and NATO forces should retreat from Afghanistan and Iraq for the establishment of peace. The Palestine and Kashmir issues should be resolved, he added. He demanded of the UN to withdraw its resolutions which gave the US a license to kill innocent people all over the world.
Liaqat Baloch said that Jamaat e Islami’s ‘Go America Go’ was gaining momentum. He said the people of the country would not accept US slavery at any cost. He demanded that the government implement the resolutions of the parliament and the APC on national security.
