Police arrested an alleged target killer and recovered weapons from his possession on Saturday. Asif alias Goonia s/o Abdul Razak was arrested from the New Karachi industrial area and was found in possession of a TT pistol, a G3 rifle and more than 100 bullets. “The arrested man has confessed to his involvement in targeted killings in Godhra Colony and other parts of the city,” said SSP Central Asim Qaimkhani.
Separately, Pakistan Customs arrested a man and recovered heroin from his custody. Pakistan Customs personnel searched a passenger at the Karachi airport and recovered 25 kilogrammes of fine quality heroin from his possession. The arrested man was headed from Karachi to Chicago and hails from Lala Moosa.
