SPM Stags won the opening match of the second Amar Cables T20 Veterans Championship beating Lahore Shaheen at Model Town Greens Cricket Ground on Thursday. President LCCA Kh Nadeem Ahmed and Chief Executive Amar Cables Amer Ilyas Butt inaugurated the championship being participated by 10 corporate teams. The final will be held on November 6. SPM Stags won the toss and scored 195 for three. Imtiaz Tarar 84 not out and Shakeel Malik 53 were the main scorers. Irfan Dar took two wickets for 34 for Lahore Shaheen. In reply, Lahore Shaheen scored 128 for nine. Shahid Rehan 38 and Sunan Azhar 33. Shakeel Malik had three wickets for 17 runs and Imtiaz Tarar had two wickets for 26. Imtiaz Tarar was declared the man of the match.
