Expressing intentions to continue cooperation, Pakistan and US reaffirmed resolve to work together for normalization of ties estranged of late.
The commitment to stay as partners in the ongoing war against terrorism was renewed from both sides when US Ambassador to Pakistan Cameron Munter called on Foreign Minister Hina Rabbani Khar and took stock of burning issues between the two countries.
“Strengthening bilateral cooperation and enhancing coordination on regional issues was the crux of the meeting,” a senior Foreign Office official privy to the meeting told Online.
According to Foreign office spokesperson bilateral relations and the regional situation were discussed and it was felt that the cooled relation between the two friendly countries had to be warmed up for the sake of regional stability.
The relations between the two countries had taken a downward slide after Chairman of the US Joint Chiefs of Staff Mike Mullen publicly accused the Haqqani network of being a “veritable arm” of the Pakistani intelligence service, which prompted furious response from Pakistan.

But where are the 'permitted limits' of Pakistan. No one has tried to define the boundaries and set the limits; except perhaps some recent efforts by the ARMY chief
