PML-N, PPP uproar mars NA

Full throated slogans echoed in the National Assembly on Thursday as enraged PML-N legislators rose from their seats and did not allow normal business to go on.
A rumpus and war of words between vibrant Fauzia Wahab and Abid Sher Ali were exchanged, while member of the PML-N Rana Tanvir Hussain called PPP’s Nadeem Afzal Chan ‘low caste’ as the session turned into a fish market.
During the session, PPP MA Nadeem Afzal Chan presented facts about Takht-e-Lahore, but the PML-N MNAs refused to listen to his speech and started rumpus in the house. However, the speaker directed Chan to continue with his speech.
Infuriated PML-N members retaliated and dubbed the PPP MNA as a low caste member. During that time hot words were also exchanged between PML-N Abid Sher Ali and PPP Fauzia Wahab and the session virtually turned into verbal battle.
Chief Whip and Federal Religious Minister Syed Khursheed Shah and PML-N’s Khawaja Saad Rafique put some ice on the proceedings and calmed the livid members, while telling them to sit in their seats.
