PML-N leads sit-in, rally outside Presidency

Keeping aside the reconciliation policy, the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) has openly came up to show its power in the federal capital. The PML-N led an opposition rally and sit-in outside President House, describing President Asif Ali Zardari as ‘mother of all the problems’ that Pakistan is facing.
PML-N’s Leader of the Opposition in the National Assembly Chaudhry Nisar Ali Khan led the joint opposition rally attended by lawmakers of Jamat-e-Islami, Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam Fazl Ur Rehman (JUI-F), Like-Minded group the PML-Q, PPP Sherpao group and score of independent candidates.
Senators and MNAs from FATA also joined the protest march.
They walked out from a session of the lower house and marched towards the Presidency and staged a sit-in.
Carrying placards and banners, the parliamentarians chanted anti-government slogans and demanded an end to load-shedding, inflation, and the deteriorating law and order situation in the county.
Heavy police contingents were deployed near the President House.
