The National Squash Championship has postponed due to dengue fever in the provincial capital. According to the Punjab Squash Association, the championship starting from October 10 is postponed for the 10 days on the directions of the Punjab government.
As many as fifty players from across the country were set to participate in the championship. Earlier, the weight lifting and hockey championships have also postponed and the Twenty 20 cricket tournament was shifted to Karachi amid fear of dengue fever in Lahore.
