Former president Pervez Musharraf said his country was not involved in the murder of Afghan government’s peace envoy Burhanuddin Rabbani and attack on US embassy in Kabul.
Addressing a press conference here, he asserted it was Pakistan that suffered the most as the consequence of the murder of Afghan peace envoy.
Commenting on latest bid to make peace with the Taliban fighters, he observed, “Negotiations with outlawed Tehreek Taliban Pakistan (TTP) will tantamount to be weak on the part of the government.”
Reiterating his resolve to come back to Pakistan, Musharraf said he would land in the country on pre-announced March 23, adding he would face Benazir murder case.
