Lahore Gym beat Pioneer Club

Lahore Gymkhana beat Pioneer Club by nine wickets in the opening match of the 25th Khawaja Shujauddin Memorial League Cricket Tournament at Baghe Jinnah Ground on Wednesday. Former international umpire Rab Nawaz inaugurated the tournament. Pioneer Club made 165 for seven in 35 overs. Pioneer Club’s Ehteshaam Butt scored 82 runs. Nadeem Butt (16) and Rasool Khan (16) were the other prominent scorers for Pioneer Club. Zaheer Ali of Lahore Gymkhana grabbed four wickets for 22 runs. In reply, Lahore Gym achieved the target of 166 runs for the lost of one wicket in 16 overs. Hussnain Alam and Adnan Butt scored 80* and 80*runs respectively.
